Ford Auto Dealership
Bob Tomes Ford’s story began back in 1983 when Bob and Barbara Tomes began selling Ford vehicles on a 3.8-acre lot in McKinney. Starting with only 17 employees and about two-dozen vehicles the dealership soon began to grow. In 1988, to meet the demands of a growing business, the Tomes’ moved their dealership to its current site, which today spans 16 acres.
Bob Tomes Ford features New-Vehicle and Pre-Owned Vehicle Departments, Service and Parts Departments, Quick Car Vehicle Center, and a Collision Repair Center.
Their son, Brandon Tomes, joined the business in 2007, after his graduation from SMU. He opened Brandon Tomes Subaru in 2009 and works closely with Bob at both dealerships.
The success of the Tomes dealerships can also be directly linked to Bob and Barbara Tomes’ huge presence in the McKinney community. The Tomes’ have generously donated their time and money to countless community activities and organizations over the years. Their beneficence has impacted every sphere of McKinney life including civic, charitable and educational causes.
At Bob Tomes Ford their goal is to make sure each of their customers receives the quality service the dealership has built its name on. Their superb sales and service staff make it their mission every day.
