Celebrate Independence Day in Atlanta by taking advantage of one (or more!) of the many 4th of July weekend celebrations planned.

Experience wild life above and below the water’s surface at the largest aquarium in the western hemisphere. The Georgia Aquarium is open on July 4th. Marvel at the whale sharks and manta rays, enjoy the dolphin show, and get a feel for underwater life at the touch tank. Enjoy the beauty of Centennial Olympic Park and the excitement of Independence Day fireworks on Saturday, July 4th. Gates open at 6pm, with the fireworks scheduled to begin at 9pm.
